"The Apostle Paul's Authority"

"For this I was appointed a preacher, an apostle and a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth." 1 Timothy 2:7

"But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God."
Acts 20:24

"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer."
Acts 2:42

"Be imitators of me, just as I also am of Christ. Now I praise you because you remember me in everything and hold firmly to the traditions, just as I delivered them to you."
1 Corinthians 11:1

"We have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you are doing and will continue to do what we command. For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example, because we did not act in an undisciplined manner among you, nor did we eat anyone’s bread without paying for it, but with labor and hardship we kept working night and day so that we would not be a burden to any of you; not because we do not have the right to this, but in order to offer ourselves as a model for you, so that you would follow our example. If anyone does not obey our instruction in this letter, take special note of that person and do not associate with him, so that he will be put to shame. Yet do not regard him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother."
2 Thessalonians 3:4,7-9,14-15

"Brethren, join in following my example, and observe those who walk according to the pattern you have in us."Philippians 3:17

"The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you."
Philippians 4:9

"For I consider myself not in the least inferior to the most eminent apostles. But even if I am unskilled in speech, yet I am not so in knowledge; in fact, in every way we have made this evident to you in all things."
2 Corinthians 11:5-6

"Now you followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, perseverance, persecutions, and sufferings... But evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work."
 2 Timothy 10-17
